Here is a free (but less reliable) way to get text messages from FonTag.

Not all cell carriers provide a free SMS Gateway.  Some add or remove formatting.

FonTag often will send a link inside the text message, which may or may not be clickable, depending upon how your carrier handles it.

What you need to do, is find out the email address that your cell phone carrier may provide.

Look it up here:  http://freecarrierlookup.com/

Enter your cell phone number in space provided, and click on the SEARCH button.

In the yellow box containing the lookup results, look for "SMS Gateway Address":

It will generally be the digits of your phone number, with the "@" sign, and then an email address based on your cell phone carrier.

In my case, it's my phone number 321-351-0485, at Republic Wireless.

Copy that email address EXACTLY as shown into the Free SMS field, and we will attempt to send you text messages via your free SMS Gateway.

Be sure to send yourself a TEST MESSAGE, to be sure that this method will work.

Please also keep in mind, that while emails and text messages are very reliable, they are not 100% guaranteed to be delivered.  It's just not technically possible.  FonTag™ cannot be held liable for messages that were not received as intended.

INTERNATIONAL NUMBERS

The above service only works for US & Canadian cell phone numbers.

Alternatively, you can contact your Cell Phone Service Provider  (Verizon Wireless, AT&T, etc), and ask them for your "SMS Gateway Address".

If you're still stuck, submit a ticket.
